Use Reusable Bags

Say No to Plastic Straws

An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When marine wildlife ingest plastic, they have a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 3 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

COVID-19 is playing havoc with the bag situation. Some stores in my area don't have bags at all anymore, requiring you to bring your own bags. Others forbid you from bringing your own bags (the idea being that then their employees won't have to touch bags that they don't know are clean). I'm not sure what the right approach is, but they can't both be right, can they?
