    People Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

well, if you spend most of your time indoors your body will lack Vit. D, you will be limiting the amount of fresh air you get, and i think you would be depressed more because of being inside all the time. i know when i go outside on a nice sunny day it makes me happy to feel the sun on my skin and just to see things outside instead of the same things in your house.

I started this challenge about 3 days ago, it's hard to remember to check in everyday. I think as the days go on it will get a little easier to remember

Talking on the phone with others on a daily basis or vidio calling make me feel a little closer to them, and gives me someone else to talk to aside from my family I live with.

    Food Compost Food Waste
New to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?

I notice I have less trash, and I am going to use my compost in my vegetable garden.
