I was already aware of the difference between food and food products, and the common labeling that is applied to the latter to encourage usage, etc., but this is always a great reminder. Here are some notable points I read along the way:

Does Federal Law require food product dating?
Except for infant formula, product dating is not required by Federal regulations.

Is food product dating for food safety or food quality?
Manufacturers provide dating to help consumers and retailers decide when food is of best quality. Except for infant formula, dates are not an indicator of the product’s safety and are not required by Federal law.

I was already an everyday bike commuter, as I donated my car to the ASPCA a couple years ago, so I am actually missing the trips to work and home. I started doing a faux commute in my neighborhood to keep up the routine and enjoy the fresher air. Thank you everyone for not driving, the air breathers and planet appreciate it.

My (work) team does a daily "stand-up" via video chat to check-in with each other. We always have a theme or question of the day that inspires us to reflect about our various connections, spirit, and mindset to keep us grounded, while also sharing what our day/week looks like with our various tasks. It is not as tactile as stopping by each others desk or having a group meeting/potluck, but it helps keep us connected.
