    Today I checked off the final three challenges left incomplete. Tonight I'll watch The Human Element and a documentary on food sovereignnty.

    It would have been a more chilly on Pier 3 today, where we would be gathering right about now to start our March of 2020 stops for the planet.

    Your utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your ZIP code, region, and/or state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?

    Yesterday there were three adult osprey in one next. Never saw that before. Returning juvenile joins mom & pop?

    We now appear to have two pairs of nesting Great Egrets on Winsegansett Marsh.

    Went for a long walk on the Fairhaven town beach to check out the fenced piping plover nesting areas. Nothing but blue sky today!

    The osprey in the marsh seems to have found a mate. You don't often see two adult osprey calmly sharing one platform.

    I'm learning more about Osprey, and saw my first of 2020 today at the nearby saltmarsh. A true sign of Spring.
