  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Oceans Smart Seafood Choices
Many states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?

    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 11:14 AM
I think I follow within these lines of a diet. I feel as if to make sure I do stay within the guideline I should list what I eat and the calories.

My challenge is going great, very interesting.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
People Earth Day Action: Share Eco Tips
What environmentally friendly habit have you most recently implemented? How do you ensure that you are successful in creating or changing a habit?

    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 11:07 AM
I've always been a bottle of water kind of guy, I've been drinking filtered water from the refrigerator for a while now long enough to make a difference. I know how much plastic I used to waste by drinking so many bottles but now I refill.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Building Resilience Get Involved in the Water Justice Movement
Who is affected by polluted water or a lack of access to water in your region? How are they affected?

    Brandon levin's avatar
    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 11:02 AM
The question shouldn't be who is affected but who isn't affect by polluted water? Everyone    in your region is affected if the water is not drinkable or if they have no way to drink water.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Climate Use Muscle Power
How do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?

    Brandon levin's avatar
    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 10:58 AM
My transportation choices affect my engagement within my community because whether I drive or ride a bike. the obvious healthier choice is to ride a bike but unless as a community as a whole were to make changes there wouldn't be a big difference.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife Research Benefits of Biodiversity
How can you encourage biodiversity by your own actions?

    Brandon levin's avatar
    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 10:21 AM
How I can encourage biodiversity by my actions is by planting pollen and nectar plants to attract good insects. I can maintain wetlands by conserving water and reducing irrigation and avoid draining water bodies on my property.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Oceans Support Organic Growing Methods
It is often said that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” What is your response to that statement?

    Brandon levin's avatar
    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 10:17 AM
My response to that statement is if you don't try, you don't know if you can or not.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
People Earth Day Action: Research and Support Local Organizations
Why is it important to support local organizations and businesses? How does it help to build a more resilient community?

    Brandon levin's avatar
    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 10:14 AM
Without the public's support of organizations and businesses would give them nothing because we are the support to give money and recognition. It helps to build a more resilient community giving strength being able to withstand and recover from adverse situations.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Forests Plant Trees
How is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?

    Brandon levin's avatar
    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 10:06 AM
I feel as if it is good for my mental health because I now have the feeling of helping and loving earth feeling more connected. Trees give us oxygen as a whole not just one but planting a tree is helping you breathe and your spiritual health may play a role feeling connected to what you believe in.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

    Brandon levin's avatar
    Brandon levin 4/30/2020 9:59 AM
This doesn't surprise me because I Know Americans tend to waste, where I would rather use this money is make there a way for food to get to those who don't have food to eat.
