    How does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?

    When a person becomes involved in solving the problems in their community, they have a greater sense of belonging to that community. Additionally, making a sacrifice of time or resources for the betterment of a community really helps that individual become a part of what makes it so great.

      Additionally, I really like doing what is right and 'being the change' I want to see. Plus, it makes my neighborhood look better.
