Leslie's actions
Action Track: Earth Day Together!
Earth Day Action: Write a Love Letter, Poem, or Song to Earth
I will express my love and gratitude for our Earth by writing a love letter, poem, or song to Earth.
Food
Weekly Meal Planning
I will reduce food waste and save money by prepping for 3 meal(s) each day, only buying the ingredients I need.
Food
Compost Food Waste
I will avoid sending up to .69 lbs (.31 kg) of food waste to the landfill each day by composting my food or learning how to.
Food
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 2 meatless meal(s) and/or 1 vegan meal(s) each day of the challenge.
Action Track: Building Resilience
Spend Time Outside
I will replace 30 minute(s) each day typically spent inside (computer time, watching television, etc.) with quality time outside that follows CDC guidelines for preventing disease spread.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Leslie Smith 4/22/2020 7:10 AMDear Earth,Thank you for all you have given us. Thank you for being beautiful, strong, resilient, and forgiving. Thank you for your abundance, of food, wildlife, nature, and opportunities.I can tell you get mad at us sometimes, and we end up paying for the ways we have damaged you in our quest for expansion and money. You give us so much, and we aren’t always there for you - humans can be so inconsiderate! Thank your for putting up with us!All in all, though, we do love you, we do appreciate you, and I, for one, am very glad that this Earth is where I live. -
