The Open Society University Network (OSUN) is a new global network that integrates learning and the advancement of knowledge across geographic and demographic boundaries, promotes civic engagement on behalf of open societies, and expands access of underserved communities to higher education. BardCCE: Realizing Bard’s mission as a private institution operating in the public interest. Bard Office of Sustainability: working within the limits of the ecosystem to create a thriving community.

    In Herat one of the provinces in Afghanistan, last day lots cicada attack to the people house and farms. It makes so pollution in the city.

    Thinking about my daughter volunteering at the Bard Farm today.  She has a proven track record for growing cabbages!

    I had no idea New England cottontail rabbits were endangered, or that this rabbit and many other creatures require young forests with lots of new trees and brushes to thrive. My mom and I are going to plant some bushes and young trees at the edge of our backyard to help grow rabbit habitat.

    Today my daughter and I took a walk in the rain and pulled these items out of the woods and brought them “Curbside.” She’s emailing the town to see if they can get them to the landfill

    I've been taking only the most direct routes to get from place to place and driving less than I have in years--one positive aspect of social distancing!
