I came in late to this Team as it has been a Covid Crazy month.  Thrilled to support GPSEN and EcoChallenge and all the great work being done to change our awareness and behaviors .   I am always inspired to see what others are doing as part of this challenge and how all our individual actions add up!  Thanks GPSEN Team for another impressive...

Ecological silver lining of China's 2-month+ COVID shutdown? (from Stanford Earth Science research): Reduced pollution, mainly from heavy industry, has led to 75,000+ fewer pollution deaths. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/27/opinion/sunday/coronavirus-climate-change.html (This data doesn't appear until the story's final paragraph.)

I ended up doing research on two animals.  While the pangolin has gotten a lot of attention as a potential vector for the coronavirus, I was intrigued by what qualities the Chinese consider to be medical benefits from pangolin scales.  There is still more to learn about these intriguing animals, but I am greater understanding now as to while...
