I have been sharing a lot with friends and neighbors.  A set of onions were given to me and I then passed along some to two other people.  My chickens are in double time so I gave away eggs to a coworker whose partner is a hospital worker.  I'm hoping these small acts are keeping my community safer even if in the tiniest way.

I have been trading and sharing things with friends and neighbors so much! I have been keeping things super local but my egg customer gave me lots of onions so i shared with two other neighbors and gave a bunch of eggs away to a coworker to help keep them out of the supermarket.

The biggest ways I can be an advocate is to first bring awareness to this issue by educating myself and then telling others what I learn. I can also make sure that I am not supporting these business by not buying bottled water and making sure to be mindful of the products I am buying!

I have been making my own products (cleaner, toothpaste, etc.) and reusing old containers from condiment jars and a bunch of other random products to store the products I've been making. To ensure that I am successful in creating this habit I have been trying to find content that teaches me how to make my own things as well as making sure I am...

while almost all of my trash is compost because we mostly just buy bulk vegetables, It is not too much in reality. We save the majority of our waste to make vegetable stock and otherwise my compost goes towards making my garden healthy and happy.

While I don't necessarily feel more connected to my community by picking up litter, it does make me feel like I've done a service that impacts everyone in my community in a positive way,

it helps me by having someone to talk through routine daily thoughts that can sometimes be difficult to process alone. Laughter is another way of course that brings instant gratification.

I researched more about the sea otter, cause they are my favorite animal!  Once I did some digging, I realized how cool of a creature they are. They have one of the densest coats of fur, helping them with insulation in the ocean.  They wrap themselves in kelp to keep from floating out deeper into the ocean when sleeping, and the carry around a...

I never knew about the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, and how important this process is to our climate and the world,  The transporting of nutrients, temperature, salts, etc. through the ocean is detrimental to coastal environments.  The lack of glacial freshwater entering the oceans each year may lead to extreme climatic...
