Dear Mother Nature,
You are a breath of fresh air that i can always take in. You sometimes get a little loud with storms but there's usually a rainbow to reflect on after the storm. Your Earth stability provides a great foundation for all to enjoy and build upon or plant beautiful gardens. You provide for our wildlife with natural habitat which i enjoy being a witness to. With all of this i am very grateful and appreciate YOU, Mother Nature!

We live in a community on a lake. Whenever i take our dog for a walk, i pick up any stray papers or waste along my way to keep the environment free of trash and plastic.

Not answer applies, but the 1st thing I thought of is I want to get to know more about composting at home. This will reduce waste/weight and help our at home gardening.

  The LiveGreen website has several articles about starting a compost pile at home. If that's not your thing, you can join Hillsides Solutions' compost club. They have places you can drop your material off and then you get to pick up compost later. It's pretty cheap to be a part of and the 42nd and Dewey campus is now a drop off location!

  I have noticed that too- We talk about mindfulness but it's a challenge to 'train' ourselves to do that. That attention to detail tends to help us make better decisions--better for us and the planet.
