Say No to Plastic Straws

An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When marine wildlife ingest plastic, they have a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 3 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

Our household can only use the dishwasher and laundry once they're full, only use one cup per person (for each day), and don't leave the water running when you don't need it!

My challenges have been going pretty well the only thing I want to work harder at is that I don't always do all of the challenges I checked off to do!

I think that my parents used to use plastic coffee cups but now whenever they go to a cafe they bring there own reusable cups!

Last night after dinner I was showing my 4-year-old sister what I was doing and how I'm trying to help the earth and this was her response, "I wish we were in outer space because then we could help the earth!" she's only 4.

If we stay stuck inside our house without communicating to friends we won't have the close bonds that we used to have before. Friends and Family are very special people who care about you and want to see you so don't forget to call them!!!!

I'm grateful to have a place to live and have a home. I'm grateful that the earth provides some people with clean water. But when I learn about the people that don't have clean water my heart sinks, and I really want to do something about that.
