I will spend 10 minutes researching local organizations and businesses in my community, then support one of them by writing a testimonial or positive review, ordering curbside, making a donation to my favorite nonprofit, or supporting them in another way.

Khalil Conley 4/27/2020 8:09 AMIt is important because they are the one importing all of the objects that we use so its important that they get our imput on the situation -

Khalil Conley 4/14/2020 11:10 AMIt helps me getting involved in the community by making it to where im involved and helping the community strive to get better -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFresh Water Use a Reusable Water BottleUsing the links provided, investigate the bottling practices of water corporations. There have been many cases where the water rights of the local people have been violated or even completely disregarded when a corporation decides to bottle water from a particular water source. How can you advocate for those who have been harmed - both humans and wildlife - by this bottling process?
Khalil Conley 4/07/2020 10:24 PMit is important that we try our best to save water bottles to gain natural resources -
Khalil Conley 4/04/2020 11:39 AMMy challenge is going great i feel like their not too easy or too hard -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPeople Connect While Social DistancingHow does connecting with others help your own mental and emotional health? How can it help support others?
Khalil Conley 4/04/2020 11:38 AMI feel like it helps being able to talk to people around your own age and your friends because there are certain things that are said and done around friends that are not said and done around your family, It can also help support others to get their minds off of certain things that may be happening in their lives -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPeople Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Khalil Conley 4/03/2020 9:36 AMI think that we will become consumed with being on modern day technology and it will come to a point to where we do not want to go outside at all and we will become satisfied with being inside for the rest of our life -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFresh Water Conserve Toilet WaterWhat would a sustainable water future in your region look like? What needs to change?
Khalil Conley 4/02/2020 8:34 AMI sustainable water future in my region would look like clean natural and pure water, we need to try as best as we can to preserve water we also need to try to keep pollution from spreading in our water all of this is part of the big scheme of polluting our earth -
REFLECTION QUESTIONForests Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Khalil Conley 4/01/2020 8:33 AMThe one thing that probably is going to be hard to make it a habit is that I can be too lazy to wash to dishes and put my reusable cups in the wash, instead of me using a plastic or a styrofoam cup and being able to just throw it away
