REFLECTION QUESTIONFresh Water Dishwasher EfficiencyHow can your region/household prepare for changing water situations in order to become more resilient?
Abigail Crowe 4/30/2020 10:03 PMWe need to begin to embrace water as a sacred, irreplaceable, essential component to human life. We need to conserve this precious resource as much as possible in our daily life. We need to reshape the way we use and approach water. We need to exercise empathy for all of the people who are deprived of this resource around the world. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONForests Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Abigail Crowe 4/30/2020 9:53 PMSome obstacles that stand in my way are accessibility on road trips or daily commutes. It is easy to stop and purchase a plastic water bottle in a Starbucks or Burgerville, but that impulse can easily be tampered if you remember to bring your reusable cup/mug everywhere you go. You can train your brain to make it an essential object, just like house keys, so no matter where you go you will bring it along, simultaneously saving the planet! It feels extremely fulfilling to know that this little life adjustment is helping my community!
