Diane Denny 4/06/2020 7:56 AMExpiration dates are cautionary for the food industry and are conservative. It is possible to consume food beyond the date. However, one must be careful in looking for signs that a food has indeed gone bad before consuming. Bubbles in cans of tomatoes , for example, are a definite no way Jose. Yogurt lids that have expanded are another indicator. It is better to be safe than sorry.-
