I am not sure I answered the question (felt like a test question) but I think my take away gets at the gist of how we can influence our understanding of food sovereignty.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Watch a Documentary about Food SovereigntyHow does food sovereignty address the complex agrarian transition to modern food systems?
Beth DeRosier 4/06/2020 6:14 PMI watched Food Inc. last night. A documentary made in 2008 that helped to create an awareness of the need for all of us to understand where our food comes from and the economics of food production. 'My big take away was that we all have a vote in deciding how we would like our food systems to work. We actually have 3 votes - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Those food choices send signals on what is important to us about food and our knowledge of where it comes from.
I am not sure I answered the question (felt like a test question) but I think my take away gets at the gist of how we can influence our understanding of food sovereignty. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Beth DeRosier 4/01/2020 11:58 AMMeat is expensive to raise.so many can not afford it. Meat requires many resources such as land, food and water. In particular, we can save water usage by not eating meat.
