REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Building Resilience Research Local Climate IssuesIn what ways is your local community resilient to shock events like we’ve experienced recently? How could you help it become more resilient?
Sage DiSclafani 4/07/2020 11:28 AMMy local community is suprised that one of the impacts of the virus is a reduced pollution and that's actually helping people be less worried about the environment and the virus. I could try and advocate for more people to help the environment. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFresh Water Use a Reusable Water BottleUsing the links provided, investigate the bottling practices of water corporations. There have been many cases where the water rights of the local people have been violated or even completely disregarded when a corporation decides to bottle water from a particular water source. How can you advocate for those who have been harmed - both humans and wildlife - by this bottling process?
Sage DiSclafani 4/07/2020 11:13 AMWe can stop buying bottled water and get a reusable bottle, along with trying to inform others about the damage they have caused to try and get support in this fight against them. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Building Resilience Connect While Social DistancingHow does connecting with others help your own mental and emotional health? How can it help support others?
Sage DiSclafani 4/07/2020 11:11 AMIt creates a support system so that others can talk about their problems and vent, taking a little weight off of them at a time. -
