Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

This was my first time participating in EcoChallenge. I really enjoyed it. It kept me accountable for continuous learning efforts and my daily actions. I love the site's use of stats and their overall correlation of information gathered--it really speaks to the power of data visualization.

Today I took steps to reduce my carbon footprint. I chose to reduce my greenhouse gas emissions by refuse to drive my car and opting to cycle to and from the gym.

I learned to decrease packaging via Amazon orders by consolidating orders and scheduling a single delivery date using the “Amazon day” program available to Prime members. This prevents receiving several individual and unnecessary shipments/boxes.
