I have really enjoyed this challenge so far. This makes you think about how even little changes can make a difference!

The market for this food has become overly concentrated and there has been damage to the environment to meet these growing food demands

I am grateful for the oxygen that I breathe, the oceans for being so beautiful, and the animals that have me fascinated. I am grateful to be on this planet and that I get to live my life everyday.

I have used paper and steel straws to reduce the use of plastic straws. I continuously use them and bring them with me even if I buy a drink.

I'm glad that I get to stay connected with my friends even during this pandemic
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    People Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I am more of an indoor person than an outdoor person but with the recent events I think that it's important to spend sometime outside just to get vitamin D because it's good for you. We all need some fresh air sometimes
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

It makes a person feel less alone and its proven to make people happier when they feel more connected. Since we can't be with our friends physically it's nice to see them on video chat or just to talk to them.

It helps me understand when I am able to use and consume products. It helps me make healthier and safer decisions when knowing if I can consume certain products.
