KeeKee's actions

Wildlife

Use Reusable Bags

Plastic bags can be mistaken for food by many wild animals. If at all possible, I will not accept any disposable bags when making purchases, including produce bags.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

I'd carry it out in a cart and low it in my trunk. It's hard but it's helping the planet.

They care about and are invested in the well-being of your community and its future. Local businesses are more accountable to their local communities and donate more money to non-profits. Supporting local businesses is good for the environment because they often have a smaller carbon footprint than larger companies.

Farmers that sponsor community supported agriculture programs ask consumers to purchase shares of their harvests prior to the growing season.

It helps keep me sane. It's boring being quarantined and being able to still talk to my family and friends helps me stay connected. My grandfather was in the hospital for brain damage and being able to facetime him due to technology I was happy. He's good now, thank god!

I drank water bottle water today. I felt bad because I got use to the routine of drinking faucet water. I got right back on track though and I convinced my brother to do the same since he's starting to drink a lot of water.

FaceTime has helped for me to connect with my friends. It's nice to be able to still see them at least and know how they are doing.

I agree! I'm staying in the Pilsen area and my puppers loved the morning snow.

Did a Easter Egg Hunt for my little brother outside so he can still celebrate the holiday and get fresh air in the yard.
