My eco tip is to get involved in how politics impacts the environment. Our elected leaders make decisions everyday that impact our environment. Stay involved, vote and promote legislation that supports a healthy environment!

I'm so excited about my romaine lettuce growing from the stub that was left after I cut off the leaves for a salad!

I am composting fruit and vegetable waste in my backyard and all other food waste in the city compost. Yesterday I harvested compost with my kids to use in our small garden. I have worms so we spent an hour separating the worms from compost. We found many other critters. It was quite the messy educational experience for my kids.

I have been connecting with family and friends through email, phone and zoom calls. I have also been connecting with neighbors by initiating clapping at 7pm every night for the workers on the frontlines of the pandemic
