  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

I'm not surprised because that is how our country is. I wouldn't use my money on anything else, but I would spend the money and make good use of it. Our family doesn't waste food and that is how we have been raised. So that is why I wouldn't use my money on anything else.

It helps me feel like I still have people and not so alone. It makes me happy. It can make others happy as well and give them hope for the future,

We can fill the dishwasher all the way up before running it and can wash our dishes that don't go in the dishwasher right when we are finished with them so the water doesn't have to stay on and waste it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I think I would need to work on leaving what I find. I like taking things that seem unusual or even picking flowers. I didn't think there was much of a problem picking flowers, but I now understand there could be, so in the future, I will take pictures of them instead.
