Another useful observation is that low-end grocery stores often carry food that is about to expire. It appears that they achieve low prices by re-selling unused food from high-end grocery stores.

My Carbon Footprint
Use an online tool (links below) to calculate my carbon footprint and see what changes would make the most difference. Each calculator varies, but you'll typically need to gather: utility records, the flight history for the last year, and annual mileage and fuel efficiency of your vehicles.
Climate
Energy savings for the home office
Now that we're all working from home, energy bills could go up. Take some time to evaluate your home office space (even if it's the kitchen table!). Many utilities offer home efficiency kits (LED bulbs, shower heads, etc.) - visit your electric utilities website to see if they offer any of these solutions. The links below will also help you find energy efficiency opportunities in your own space.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Neb Kisic 4/30/2020 8:55 AMWhen paying close attention to the sell by date, you may notice that freshest inventory is always placed on the back of the shelf (since grocery stores stock on a 1st in - 1st out basis). As such, I always reach my hand to the very back of any shelf and quite often find a 2-3 day difference on the sell-by stamp.
Another useful observation is that low-end grocery stores often carry food that is about to expire. It appears that they achieve low prices by re-selling unused food from high-end grocery stores.
