REFLECTION QUESTIONPeople Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Adelaide Laden 4/28/2020 8:47 AMI think this statement is very true. I think one implication of our culture being a little less nature oriented is that some if not most people in power have no regard for it and what it needs. Such as climate change worsening and worsening and these big companies having all the power in the world to make better choices and choosing not to because it's better for them and their money but not for the planet. I think this might come from the way people are raised or just the overall atmosphere and education of our society towards the preservation and importance of nature.
