  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Fresh Water Use a Reusable Water Bottle
Using the links provided, investigate the bottling practices of water corporations. There have been many cases where the water rights of the local people have been violated or even completely disregarded when a corporation decides to bottle water from a particular water source. How can you advocate for those who have been harmed - both humans and wildlife - by this bottling process?

One of the main things that we can do to advocate against bottled water is to boycott them and use a reusable bottle.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Forests Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

To be honest there is not much that stands in my way noting I used a reusable one the majority of the time, the only thing that I need to do is to commit to using one all the time.

How does connecting with others help your own mental and emotional health? How can it help support others?

I would say that connecting with others makes us feel less alone during a time of crisis like now.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    People Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I belive that that quote is very true noting I love the outside and am mystified by some of its wonders. I feel that we spend to much time inside and that we need to just go outside and look at the natural world sometimes.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

People in richer countries can afford more meat therfore expanding the big meat industries which is inhuman along with bad for the environment
