Action Track: Building Resilience
Spend Time Outside
I will replace 20 minute(s) each day typically spent inside (computer time, watching television, etc.) with quality time outside that follows CDC guidelines for preventing disease spread.
Oceans
Smart Seafood Choices
I will visit seafoodwatch.org or download the app and commit to making better seafood choices for a healthier ocean.
Forests
Explore My Area
I will explore at least one new hiking trail or nature walk in my area while following CDC guidelines for social distancing.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Kristen Molnar 4/20/2020 5:54 AMI am ambivalent at the moment; while I know continued efforts to conserve natural resources are imperative, all I can imagine is the mountains of PPE that are being disposed of in landfills due to the pandemic and think that we have killed ourselves and our planet. Either through the direct results of our actions from poor stewardship or from the results of it.-
Deborah Kim (Ecochallenge.org Staff) 4/20/2020 11:16 AMThis is a true and sobering thing. At the same time, there's a lot of restoration to the Earth right now because of people staying home and cutting travel, with greatly reduced carbon footprints — even knowing we will probably revert to old patterns given the chance. It will take all of us to practice better stewardship.

Kristen Molnar 4/03/2020 6:17 AMHaving trouble adding challenges- the box flips over for me to enter digits but the "Add" button isn't showing so it won't register that I've made an entry so it doesn't add to my dashboard. Anyone else having this issue?
