  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Oceans Learn about Our Oceans
What is one way in which oceans support your life on Earth? What is one way you can help take care of ocean health with your actions?

The ocean produces over half of the world's oxygen and absorbs 50 times more carbon dioxide than our atmosphere.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

I initially started meal prepping to lose weight during the shelter-in-place, however I have saved so much money over the past month through planning my meals and being a smarter shopper...I will make sure to continue. There is no justification for wasting food.

I certainly struggled during the early days of shelter-in-place, however connecting not only with family but colleagues on Zoom and Teams has been a huge help to improve my mood and sense of isolation. Even after this Covid nightmare ends, I will continue to connect with others more :)
