Laila's actions
Oceans
Less plastic!
I will cut down on using plastic, non-reausible, or wasteful containers. These containers go into landfills and do not decompose and then end up in oceans.
Wildlife
Pick it up!
I will bring a bag wtih me to collect trash whenever I go on a hike or picnic with my family. I chose this because it is important not to trash the wild or leave trash for wild animals to mistaken for food or hurt themselves.

Research a Wild Animal

Local Climate Issues
I will spend at least 15 minute(s) a day researching climate issues or climate solutions in my local area and share with others through my team feed, social media, or conversations with my peers.

I will host or participate in a trash pickup at a local river or beach that follows the CDC’s current guidelines for prevention of disease transfer.

Write Letters or Emails
I will write 1 letter(s) or email(s) per day to a public official or company to advocate for planet-friendly and/or environmentally just policies.
