REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Jordy Pardo-Mendoza 4/29/2020 10:51 AMBecause meat is expensive and not everyone can afford it, richer countries like the US have normalized eating meat on a regular day basis. But in less fortunate countries, meat is a luxury. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Jordy Pardo-Mendoza 4/29/2020 10:25 AMI now know that not all dates mean the same thing, and even if the "best by" date has passed, that doesn't mean It's expired, and I won't enjoy it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFresh Water Use a Reusable Water BottleUsing the links provided, investigate the bottling practices of water corporations. There have been many cases where the water rights of the local people have been violated or even completely disregarded when a corporation decides to bottle water from a particular water source. How can you advocate for those who have been harmed - both humans and wildlife - by this bottling process?
Jordy Pardo-Mendoza 4/29/2020 10:23 AMI can stop purchasing bottled water, if companies see that people stop buying bottled water, they will be forced to do something else.
