I guess meat is seen as a luxury, other than that I am not quite sure why richer countries eat more meat.
The global food system emitted around 5.7 billion tons of carbon dioxide in greenhouse gas emissions In 2010.  It takes more than 2,400 gallons of water to produce just 1 pound of meat. Meat is also high In fat, especially saturated fat, eating a lot of saturated fat can increase cholesterol levels In blood, raising your risk of heart disease.  Those are three reasons why eating meat affects our planet and other people

What is one way in which oceans support your life on Earth? What is one way you can help take care of ocean health with your actions?

Oceans provide over half of the worlds oxygen and absorbs 50 times more carbon dioxide than our atmosphere. A way that you can help take care of ocean health Is using reusable plastic products, like glass straws, or a cloth bag for groceries.

What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

I can substitute plastic straws with the glass and metal straws I have.  I have a reusable cup for coffee.  My family and I use reusable cloth bags Instead of plastic vegetable bags. My family and I use reusable containers for food as well.
