I will connect with at least 10 person/people a day through phone call or video chat to support mine and other’s mental and emotional health during this challenging time.

I will replace 60 minute(s) each day typically spent inside (computer time, watching television, etc.) with quality time outside that follows CDC guidelines for preventing disease spread.
Climate
Local Climate Issues
I will spend at least 30 minute(s) a day researching climate issues or climate solutions in my local area and share with others through my team feed, social media, or conversations with my peers.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

REFLECTION QUESTIONPeople Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Caroline Snead 4/03/2020 7:47 AMYes I love being outside especially in the warm weather. I love going to the parkway and also just sitting on my porch or in my yard. Nature is so beautiful and these times are just making me realize that all you need is a beautiful day and a couple people you love to make you really happy! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPeople Connect While Social DistancingHow does connecting with others help your own mental and emotional health? How can it help support others?
Caroline Snead 4/03/2020 7:39 AMI really liked this one. Me and a lot of my classmates from one class all facetimed and just caught up and did some work together (not cheating haha). It was nice to see people you usually only see in school and are your "school" friends, outside of school and see that they are doing well. It was definitely good for my mental health
