What are the benefits of a sharing economy? How could a sharing economy change the dynamics you have with friends, family and/or neighbors?

A sharing economy reduces the expenses for individuals, but sharing is so much more than that. Sharing allows people an interaction and a chance to break down barriers. It allows people to be there for each other in easy times and then, when hard times happen, it's easier to help each other too. So it is softer on the planet (fewer goods needed), easier on individuals (share instead of buy) and good for the community (builds connections).
