      A gigaton = 1,000,000,000 kilograms. So, for you fans of "context" in the audience, one 2L-bottle of soft drink contains about 0.015 kilograms of CO2. Which begs the question (to me at least), to sequester the same amount of CO2 as rain forest restoration, how many bottles of the "diabetes au jus" would Pepsico have to produce?
