Watch a Documentary about Food Sovereignty
I will watch 2 documentary(ies) about food sovereignty: the right of local peoples to control their own food systems including markets, ecological resources, food cultures and production methods.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Kristina Webb 4/22/2020 11:23 PMI watched the documentary entitled Regaining Sovereignty tonight. It inspired me to do more. The information wasn’t necessarily new to me but seeing their group really take action in their community have me hope that I can keep adding ways that I stay more connected to the earth by eating more naturally. I have a long way to go to embrace what they do but one small step at a time.-
Sue Kane 4/23/2020 9:35 PMOne step at a time - a good reminder for all of us! -
Jeanne Poirier 4/23/2020 6:37 PMSounds good - and inspiring! Thanks for sharing. :)

REFLECTION QUESTIONWildlife Leave No TraceEducator Stephanie Kaza advises her students to focus on what they care about most when addressing the enormity of ecological problems. Is there a specific area you feel particularly called to work on?
Kristina Webb 4/07/2020 5:23 PMTo talk positively about it with my children and people I come in contact with so maybe someone else will be inspired. And of course to keep trying to do my part daily. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPeople Connect While Social DistancingHow does connecting with others help your own mental and emotional health? How can it help support others?
Kristina Webb 4/07/2020 5:21 PMIt reminds me that me and my family are not alone which is hard to remember if we don’t see others.-
Jeanne Poirier 4/07/2020 7:28 PMAmen Kristina! And as my dear friend Sue Kane reminds me, I'm doing it for her grand babies. Thanks for taking care of your family and all the rest of us too!
