Food
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 1 meatless meal(s) and/or 0 vegan meal(s) each day of the challenge.
Food
Weekly Meal Planning
I will reduce food waste and save money by prepping for 3 meal(s) each day, only buying the ingredients I need.
Fresh Water
Dishwasher Efficiency
I will scrape, rather than rinse, dishes before loading into the dishwasher and only run the dishwasher when it’s full.
Oceans
Smart Seafood Choices
I will visit seafoodwatch.org or download the app and commit to making better seafood choices for a healthier ocean.
Food
Watch a Documentary about Food Sovereignty
I will watch 2 documentary(ies) about food sovereignty: the right of local peoples to control their own food systems including markets, ecological resources, food cultures and production methods.
Oceans
Learn about Our Oceans
I will spend at least 60 minutes learning about how our oceans support life on Earth by producing oxygen, regulating climate, and providing habitat, food, and jobs.
Food
Compost Food Waste
I will avoid sending up to .69 lbs (.31 kg) of food waste to the landfill each day by composting my food or learning how to.

REFLECTION QUESTIONOceansWhat is one way in which oceans support your life on Earth? What is one way you can help take care of ocean health with your actions?
Megan Wilcox 4/14/2020 7:23 AMOceans help to regulate our weather patterns and move solar radiation. I am working to make sure that I always bring a reusable straw with me when dining out and am going to start purchasing fish and seafood from sustainable and ethically sourced providers. -
Megan Wilcox 4/13/2020 8:13 AMI want to find more ways to be environmentally conscious/friendly and sustainable while being 100% remote.
