    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

Meat is a part of the culture. We were raised to BELIEVE that meat was healthy. Meat was a necessary part of a healthy body. Meat and its protein would determine how strong and resilient we were.   Eating more meat impacts our planet by consuming more resources to produce it. The amount of grain needed to finish out a steer demands more in water, fertilizer and pesticide to grow the grain.

    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

No this does not surprise me. We "lose" food in the bottom of the drawer or in the back of the freezer.  I'd rather use this money on landscaping for beauty and the environment.
