I could support local, state, and national candidates who support thoughtful environmental policies. Biodiversity has many facets. Listening to politicians who address the interconnectivity of ecosystems and species and then questioning whether their policies put their words into potential action would support ongoing awareness of biodiversity....

We had a Zoom meeting for the WC. Our plan is to come up with actionable volunteer efforts surrounding the environment and outreach in marginalized communities. I felt particularly inspired by ideas of developing programs for women's shelters and other communities in transition. We hope to work with people's efforts in moving into the workforce. 

I've noticed that there's a difference between calling someone and actually setting time aside to "show up" and listen to what others are going through. I think listening to make someone feel seen helps our emotional and mental health because the effects stay with us after. 

Pollinators sustain a diverse ecosystem and support an enormous number of food crops!
