Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I am absolutely going to be far more conscious of the types of sunscreens I use, and the amount of plastic products that aren't recycled.

Action Track: Building Resilience Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

Ops! just realized it wasn't an open-ended feedback question.
I have been actually taking these walks with my horse, so that definitely helped my spiritual development and relationship with him! I feel like the more time you spend outdoors the more you see the natural world. It is so easy to overlook in our otherwise busy lives. The more you see, the more you appreciate, and the more you care...and I feel like because of this you want to ensure the health and wellbeing of the natural world.

    • The walks sound wonderful and lovely to share with your horse!

Ohh Thank you so much for the kind reply!! What a pleasant surprise! <3 Haha I think walking with him, I've learned (better put - he has trained me) to develop a keen eye for finding good patches of fresh spring grass. He's so good at it! I am not sure I will ever be able to confidently identify or forage for different types of mushrooms or plants for human consumption, but grass for horses? I've got this. Hey, you have to start somewhere, right? ;)
