I'm lucky enough to have just moved next to a beach. It's easy to get stuck indoors and behind a computer or head down looking at your phone. Taking the time to go outside and explore has helped me find a sense of place and home. This new place is my new home and, like my apartment, home is something that I want to take care of and take pride...

Hummingbirds build such small nests they often have trouble finding small enough material.  If you have hummingbirds around and you brush your cat or dog,  throw the hair out in the yad and they will use it to for nest building.

I don't have any disposable cups in my house and I don't use the disposable/comostable hot cups at work for coffee. This goes for all the dishes I use at home. Let's go Team CBRE! I've gotten rid of the plastic water bottles at home and am trying to use a lot less plastic. We're also planning out all of our meals and composting a lot more during this SIP time.
