Enjoying riding my bike to/from work each day.  I take the new bike lane near my house, and there is very little traffic now.

Doing okay with sending at least one e-advocacy for eco-justice each day.  I am hoping that I can continue this going forward.  Some days I get multiple requests, and other days only one (or infrequently, none).  There are so many eco-justice issues on which to advocate - which is also true of justice advocacy more broadly - it never ends, but persistence is necessary to affect change.

Didn't ride my bike today for transport, because rain was predicted....

There is a new bike lane on Austin, near my home, and I used it today to get to work.  I am so pleased that this bike lane, which was first discussed more than one year ago, is finally being put in place.

Biked to/from work, and stopped at the pharmacy on my way home.  Unfortunately, due to everyone panicking, there had no rubbing alcohol, which is what I was looking for.  Oh well....

Biked everywhere today, and accepted no plastic gags at all.  Yeah!!

I've been enjoying riding my bike to/from work in downtown. The streets are now so quiet that it is much safer.

I couldn't ride my bike to my office today, because it was raining most of the day.  Normally, I would opt to take the bus, but I'm avoiding public transit during the pandemic.  While I am worried about financial impact on public transportation, I am unwilling to talk the risk. So, my husband drove the car & dropped me off on his way to the Farmers Market.

I checked in with my parents as part of my connection.  It really boosted my mom’s mood since she hates isolation AND rain.  I was glad it helped her mental health today and raised her spirits.

I've been calling my parent more, too.  We don't normally speak regularly, but I believe that the connection is needed now more than ever. Good for you, Heather!

My husband and I mowed the lawn of an elderly woman today while she is still in rehab for a knee infection!

Great way to connect while maintaining social distance!  And, I'm sure it was much appreciated.
