stay at home makes going 100% reusable and 100% non-meat much easier than the normal times when i'm out and about including going to the office.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Forests Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

I be aware of the capacity limitation when I realize i don't have a bag.  Personally i choose to carry things out in my hands, over acquiring more bags - even if they're reusable.   it takes a bit of getting use to, but capacity limitations a fact of life as a year round bike commuter

because meat is tasty. We stopped buying meat at grocery stores but don't avoid meat when at work/eating out.  stay-at-home made us 100% vegetarian as a secondary effect

That's really cool to hear. I've been kind of the opposite until shelter-in-place took effect. Because Lyft provides good vegetarian and vegan options at work, I'll opt for that more often than I will at home because my family still eats meat about half the time. However, ever since shelter-in-place, I've tried to become a little mindful about trying to eat less meat and therefore I've bought less.
