April 30 at 1:26 PMThis has been a great project. Ive gotten out hiking to a number of new trails and its been fun tracking my progress. Doing the eco challenge has kept up my awareness of my meatless and vegan meals, which has also been eye opening. Thanks all!

April 30 at 10:45 AMLooks like I'm done the challenge, I've been able to keep up with the challenges I set for myself the last month. Writing this I have 1034 points so the extra 5 points will have me finish at 1039 points for the month. I will continue composting, checking in with people, and daily outside activity. They feel like good habits

April 25 at 6:27 AMPrior to composting food waste I usually generated a 3-gallon bag of trash in a week. Now that I'm composting that same 3-gallon bag now lasts me 2 weeks and I think I could go longer. Happy to be composting

I was disgusted by the amount of trash, obviously tossed out of people's car windows, beneath the train tracks adjacent to a nearby park. I'm determined to go back out with more gear to safely pick up more trash...

April 15 at 9:53 AMI've been trying to limit my socializing to phone calls and no video because I am on video calls all day for work. It was nice to chat with my friend and commiserate without the added strain of looking at a computer screen.

April 13 at 11:34 AMIt's been great to touch base with people, even if it's not face to face. This time of social distancing has actually brought the value of friendship into a different kind of perspective.

April 13 at 11:33 AMToday a large number of people at my job found out they are being furloughed. I've been on video chat throughout the day offering support when I can. Tough times.

April 12 at 11:45 AMThere is a great food documentary series on Hulu called Broken Bread. It looks at food insecurity and social justice in LA with the chef Roy Choi.
