I love learning more about how I can do my part to save our earth. I realize now I should be doing something that keeps me accountable daily (like these check ins) all the time. Also, being outside does wonders for the brain and body. Never going to stop making that part of my routine.

Action Track: Building Resilience Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I think viewing, listening to, and surrounding ourselves with nature encourages self-growth and allows us to connect to others and the earth more easily. I think that a culture of spending most of our time indoors takes away a bit of our humanity, distancing us from other people and other beings. I don't want to ever take the sun, moon, trees, animals, etc. for granted when they are ultimately vital to my existence!
