I'm feeling very inspired today as I hear the birds singing and watching their excitement as they prepare their nests and flirt!  I spent all weekend preparing for my summer harvest, nurturing the soil and transplanting my seedlings!  I hope you all had a wonderful and inspiring weekend.  April certainly flew by quickly!  one of my favorite months of the year.

Oceans create oxygen and affect the climate and weather patterns. I pick up trash when I visit beaches.

Myself and my neighbors in Spring Green are all affected by our polluted well water. We are not able to drink our well water w/o significant filtering due to farm runoff.

Yes, I have long been a proponent for sustainable harvest of seafood. I carry a card with me to help me remember
which seafood from where is sustainable and which is not.

I gave up many of these things sometime ago.
I use reusable shopping bags, stainless steal straws, reusable napkins (washable), and silicone covers (instead of plastic wrap).
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Oceans Support Organic Growing Methods
It is often said that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” What is your response to that statement?

I honestly do not know how to respond to that. I would have to do some research to answer...

I think it means many people would have to relearn how to grow food, sustainably, but also in a way that approaches it thinking systematically. I also think people need to remember the soil in this equation.
