Action Track: Building Resilience Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I think any time you are not able to get outside at least for a little you start to feel disconnected. Any day that I don't get out for at least a few breaths of fresh air I feel like I have a pressure headache by the end of the day. But if I can get out even if its just to take out the trash or get the mail I feel a tiny bit better. It probably mostly comes from the fact that stepping outside means you have to step out of whatever you are doing and the disruption resets you.
