Advocate For More Packaging Options

Plastic packaging can clog our water ways and the stomachs of sea creatures. I will advocate for alternatives to single-use packaging at local grocery stores, markets, at work, or on campus.

Highly recommend the new PBS series (you can watch online or get a DVD) H2O The Molecule That Made Us. I thought I knew a fair amount at water issues but this gave me so many more data points and perspectives, very eye opening!

Advocating for better single use packaging options, or eliminating them completely is difficult to do during this pandemic. Hopefully our bulk options come back as well as using innovative, compostable and biodegradable packaging.

I still need to spend at least 90 minutes researching how biodiversity positively impacts our world and how the loss of biodiversity harms it. So many options for videos and articles to read!
