Shannon Coulter-Low 4/22/2020 1:03 PMToday I shared my favourite environmentally friendly habit on social media - thrift shopping! I like thrift shopping because 1) its much better for the planet then buying fast fashion, 2) I can find unique items, 3) I can find quality items for much cheaper and 4) I dislike malls. I'm looking forward to when it is safe to return to my favourite thrift shops! -
Shannon Coulter-Low 4/16/2020 1:50 PMHi everyone! I wanted to share with you the first challenge that I completed called "Explore my Area". I am fortunate to be in a rural area where I can explore forests and fields while respecting social distancing regulations. I have been going out nearly every day "forest bathing" and discovering new plants as they re-awaken from their winter slumber. This is such a beautiful time of year - If you are able to go for a walk (without being to close to other people) I would encourage you to do so!-
Melissa Tomecz 4/16/2020 3:01 PMYou are lucky, Shannon! I live right next to a nature park that has a hiking trail but as this is the only park on the island, I can't say it is new to me! I have walked it many times :)
