Pollinators sustain our ecosystems providing us with clean air and help stabilize soil.  They pollinate plants that are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food.

How does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?

For sure this makes me a better planner of meals.  I used to buy some foods on impulse only to find I was wasting food that I couldn't use before it expired.  Now I really think about what I need and how soon I will be using it.  So I don't buy it if I am not going to use it right away or within a weeks time.   I also have been more inspired to grow my own vegetables.

Action Track: Building Resilience Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

If I could I would spend most of my time outdoors.  I love the outdoors.  I think it is healthy and good for everyone.  The more people learn about the natural world the more they can protect it and keep it beautiful for generations to come.
