Conserve Toilet Water
I will save up to 12 gallons (45 L) of water a day by flushing only when necessary.

I will spend at least 10 minutes learning about a wild animal I find interesting, including their life cycle, habitat, ecosystem functions, and interactions with humans (if any!).

Dishwasher Efficiency
I will scrape, rather than rinse, dishes before loading into the dishwasher and only run the dishwasher when it’s full.

REFLECTION QUESTIONWildlife Research a Wild AnimalWhat interesting facts did you learn about the animal you researched? What are some of your favorite things about this animal?
Sarah Jackson 4/15/2020 11:30 AMI read about Koalas. They are not bears, and they are asocial accept for mothers and dependent offspring. They almost exclusively eat eucalyptus leaves which is not a great source of nutrition which could be why they are so sedentary. However, they have a special chemical in their digestion to breakdown the toxins of the leaves.
