If I use plastic, and that plastic goes into the ocean, the plastic is still going into everybody's ocean, and it's not just affecting me.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Earth Day Together! Earth Day Action: Share Eco Tips
What environmentally friendly habit have you most recently implemented? How do you ensure that you are successful in creating or changing a habit?

As of now, I keep my eye out for drippy sinks because we had one in our house, and I made it so that we could use the water, not waste it. I ensure I am successful by reminding myself of the habit I want to create and making sure I act accordingly.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Action Track: Building Resilience Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I think it does ring true. If you spend most of your time indoors, you don't feel as happy and you also don't get fresh air, which is good for you.

Something I do to help the earth is when I go for a walk and I see trash on the ground, I pick it up.

I love that there are so many things we don't know about Earth and how we can keep discovering these new things. I hope we can save the earth!

Just seeing your friend can make you happier. It helps people through this tough time to know that we are all in this together.
